June 2001 Market Update

Right across the city and most definitely on the Westside, West End and Downtown, sales activity levels have soared. May 2001 was the busiest month for residential sales in Greater Vancouver for over 4 years. June’s figures are expected to exceed that.

Buyer’s recognize that there is a change afoot and with little for sale in key neighbourhoods and less than a 1% rental vacancy rate, expect to see more pressure on prices in the coming months.
