Summer is typically a slower time in the real estate market. In particular, August is usually the lull of the summer months. This year is no exception, but this is also relative.
While this August is slower than the months preceding it, this is still an incredibly strong market. The result is that in comparison to years past, this August showed it’s strength (rising prices, contracting supply and continued demand).
We don’t expect this lull to last. More than likely, the next couple of months will reflect increased sales as well as an upward pressure on prices. If you are thinking of buying or selling in this market, be sure to get in touch so that we can help you navigate!
